CANCELLED: Maker Faire Milwaukee

This event has been cancelled as a precaution against the spread of COVID 19. From the official website:

Thank you for your interest in Maker Faire Milwaukee.

Our 2019 event was a great success and we look forward to returning in 2021.

Maker Faire Milwaukee is co-hosted by Betty Brinn Museum and Milwaukee Makerspace, in collaboration with MAKE magazine.

Maker Faires are family-friendly events that welcome makers – tech enthusiasts, inventors, crafters, educators, tinkerers and hobbyists of all ages – to exhibit their work and share their knowledge and skills with other makers and with the community. Maker Faires also showcase the “maker movement”, a growing global community of do-it-yourselfers that is pushing the boundaries of creativity, product development and manufacturing through technology, innovation and entrepreneurship.

Maker Faire originated in 2006 in the San Francisco Bay Area as a project of the editors of Make: magazine. It has since grown into a significant worldwide network of both flagship and independently-produced events.  Read more on Maker Faire history, the Maker Movement, as well as how to start a Maker Faire or a School Maker Faire where you live.
